Mexico might soon be the newest market for CBD companies, such as Veritas Farms Inc (OTCQB: VFRMD). The company has 8 product categories and just announced a new one. All Veritas Farms™ brand products are third-party laboratory tested for strength and purity.
You have probably heard about Grace Elizalde, the girl who was diagnosed with a form of severe epilepsy, this led to her parents struggled to get permission from the Supreme Court of Justice to import cannabidiol oil or CBD into Mexico. It’s been three years since this discussion led to more people fighting to import this product for medicinal purposes.
Medical Marijuana, lead by Stuart Titus, will take advantage of the situation. In Mexico the company operates with its subsidiary HempMeds, which at the moment only distribute some products, but none have cannabis.
There is an enormous potential for the Mexican market, because they made studies on their product RSHO-X, the same one that was approved after the case of the girl Grace.
Researchers found that it can remain stable in several climatic regions for nine months
“With our in-house research and development team, we are proud to announce the results of a successful stability study on RSHO-X, our only CBD product, which was the first cannabis-derived supplement approved for import by the government of Mexico. This study showed that the product can remain stable for nine months in various climatic regions, under stressful conditions of heat and humidity”.
They are just waiting for a regulation to be issued for the sale of CBD in Mexico, and for import permits to be released. The company expects that with that, added to an approval in Brazil, its sales could be boosted by 80 percent.
Others CBD companies that might take advantage of the situation in Mexico
Another company that focuses on the production of CBD products is Veritas Farms Inc (OTCQB: VFRMD). The company produces gummies, lotions, vegan capsules and tinctures with CBD extract. Veritas Farms focuses on transparency and on delivering high quality products. They recently released a QR code packaging with which customers can check the products’ quality on their smartphones.
From the 15th of October the company will be adding strawberry, watermelon, cherry, and mango flavors to its lip balm offering. In addition it will commence selling all these flavors, plus the classic orange lotion, in convenient 3 packs. Each lip balm contains 25 milligrams of full spectrum hemp oil.
The company Veritas Farms controls its own supply chain and produces hemp at their 140-acre industrial hemp farm and manufacturing facility based in Pueblo. Their brand was built around transparency, honesty, and most importantly one of the highest quality full-spectrum hemp products available on the market today. While the company currently focuses on the American market they have made moves to secure international distribution and will likely be watching the developments in Mexico closely.
