Judd Trump is one frame away from a place in the World Snooker Championship semi-finals after stunning China’s Ding Junhui and pulling into a 12-4 lead.
Trump, the 2011 runner-up stormed into the quarter-final first session to earn a solid 6-2 over a shocked Ding Junhui. He played well but Trump was unstoppable.
The Bristolian continued in the second session where he left off, winning the first three frames to lead 9-2. Ding won two of his own, trailing 4-9 and wishing for a comeback.
Too little, too late. Trump won the last three frames of the session to establish a 12-4 lead, only one frame away from a prestigious spot in the World Snooker Championship semi-finals.
