The 2005 world champion Shaun Murphy plays against The Englishman Joe Perry in the World Snooker Championship second round at The Crucible.

Murphy resumed with a 7-1 lead after the first session, he kept playing high standard snooker to lead 12-4 after the second session, The Magician needs one frame to reach the last 8.

Neil Robertson leads Ali cater 11-5 after the second session, Cater has fancied by many as a strong candidate for the title but he couldn’t slow down Roberson’s pace.

Former world finalist Judd Trump plays against Hong Kong’s Marco Fu in the championship’s second round, Trump leads 10-6 before the final session.

Five-time world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan leads Matthew Stevens 12-4 in the World Snooker Championship’s second round match. He needs one more frame to book last 8 spot.

O’Sullivan continued into the second session with a 5-3 lead after recovering from 0-2 behind at match start and produced his best game of snooker, leaving Matthew Stevens speechless.

The Rocket scored back-to-back century breaks (110 and 139) and a total of 285 points with no return from his opponent to finish the second session with a 12-4 lead.

After winning the first session 5-3, O’Sullivan crushed Stevens and won the second session 7-1 to be only one frame away from his 17th quarter-final appearance at The Crucible.

Ronnie was excellent in every department – 93% potting success, 91% safety success and 81% long-shot success, nobody can beat The Rocket at this form.
